Integrated / Dynamic T1 - How It Work

The Integrated T1 / Dynamic T1 (also known as bundled T1 service, channelized T1) combines any number of different applications on a single or bonded T1. The applications you can use on an Integrated T1 include local voice, long distance, Internet bandwidth, and Voice over Internet Protocol or VoIP.  Depending on the needs of a business the dynamic T1 can be allocated for any of the previously mentioned applications.  A T1 has 24 channels that are used for the applications the business wants to run.  For example, an integrated T1 could use 10 channels for local voice and long distance, and the remaining 14 channels for Internet Bandwidth.  Most integrated product offerings from carriers that include Internet Bandwidth are dynamic today.  For example, when the 10 channels allocated for voice are not being used, they are being used for Internet Bandwidth.  Making the dynamic T1 a very versatile product for companies that do have demand for fast Internet Bandwidth. Using different equipment any number of different applications can run concurrently on an Integrated T1.
